“Dobrodiya Foods” is one of the first among the Ukrainian producers to mark its products Nutri-Score

Starting in the fall of 2023, all products manufactured by Dobrodiya Foods will be labeled to allow the consumer to receive useful information about the product bought.

Color labeling of Nutri-Score helps inform better on the properties of products and its use for a balanced diet. This labeling supplements mandatory information about the nutritional value of the product.

The Nutri-Score simplified labeling system for nutritional value of products is displayed on the front of the label as a 5-color scale: from dark green to red. The colors are associated with the letters A to E, where “A” corresponds to foods with better nutritional value, while “E” shall be given to foods with lower nutritional value. Such color labeling will help to identify immediately foods that can be eaten regularly (green color) and which are less suitable for a balanced diet and daily diet (red color). Nutri-Score is calculated per 100 g (100 ml) of a food product.

As the company noted, the labeling was introduced with the aim of providing the consumer with access to information about the nutritional values and benefits of products, as well as saving time when choosing products. As a socially responsible business, “Dobrodiya Foods” continues to follow the Sustainable Development Strategy, which was implemented a few years ago, and according to which one of the priorities is the control and observance of high product quality and the promotion of the actualization of the healthy lifestyle of consumers.
